Stuffed Okra with Peanuts and Indian Spices
A dry lady finger (bhindi) recipe from Indian cuisine, that you can make at home and can enjoy with Indian flatbread.
- 10 Ladies Finger
- 1/2 tbsp peanut powder
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- 1 cup Bengal Gram
- 3 Curry Leaves
Wash lady's fingers and allow them to dry for 10 min. Wipe them with a cloth.
Now cut the both sides of lady's finger and make a vertical slit in the middle of it. Now stuff this slit part with kaarapodi( powder made from roasted peanuts, chili powder, salt, cumin, curry leaves, fried gram dal)
In a non-stick pan, add oil. After some time add this stuffed okra(Lady's finger) and fry on all sides for 7 to 8 min. Serve hot with Indian flatbread.
